Regulation and audit

As well as self-regulating with our Clinical Governance Committee, Healthcare at Home is regulated and inspected by a range of external organisations including:

• The Care Quality Commission
• The Scottish Care Commission
• The Regulation and Quality Improvement Authority
• The Medicines and Healthcare Products Regulatory Agency
• The Royal Pharmaceutical Society of Great Britain

We are also subject to regular audit from our service commissioners, including NHS Trusts, pharmaceutical companies and private medical insurers.

In addition to regular external inspection and audit, a programme of routine self-inspection audits takes place each year.
