Care Bureau

  • Dedicated team of office-based call advisors and nurse advisors
  • Provides 24-hour care and support to patients whose service requires this facility
  • Manages a central database of patient notes, services, reports and clinical outcome data

If a patient feels worried or needs clinical support, they can dial a freephone number and speak to one of our highly trained nurses at any time, day or night. Our team of call advisors and nurse advisors act as a central point of contact for patients, their carers and any healthcare professionals that visit the patient. In addition to providing patient support, advice, and triage, the team also maintains patient records, produces service update reports and arranges home visits by the clinical team when required. They also manage referrals to and liaison with other services that the patient requires.

We look for people with excellent communication skills who have confidence and – if they’re nurses – the clinical ability to deal with patients. Our staff often have to deal with people who are anxious or distressed, who may be near the end of their life, and they have to be able to calm and reassure them.
