Commercial Team

  • Four regional field-based teams
  • Builds strong relationships with customers
  • Ensures best possible patient services while growing the business

The commercial team is split into four regions, each is headed by a regional commercial director (RCD) responsible for the performance of that region. In turn they are supported by one or more regional business managers (RBM) and trainee regional sales managers. The role of the regional teams is to build the business, largely through the development of relationships with local hospitals. This involves a significant amount of networking, understanding the needs of key decision makers and finding opportunities where the business could play a role in helping the NHS and, most importantly, patients. It involves a lot of meetings and selling the benefits of Healthcare at Home’s services and expertise.

To support this work, the RBMs and RCDs regularly have to put bids together in order to demonstrate the advantages of using Healthcare at Home. In this they are supported by project managers, commercial financial analysts and service design clinicians.

I’m really enjoying learning more about the business and building relationships with new customers. I’m very business focussed and like the fact that there’s lots of training and scope for career progression in this area.
