Healthcare at Home has two of the largest pharmacy operations in the UK, based at our head office in Burton and at a further facility in Featherstone, West Yorkshire. The pharmacies function to the same stringent standards and regulations as a typical high street pharmacy, employing teams of dispensers, pharmacy technicians, accuracy checking technicians and, of course, highly trained pharmacists. In addition to advising patients where required, the pharmacies are a vital part of the healthcare process and are purpose-built for homecare. The pharmacy teams have intimate knowledge of the drugs used in homecare services and the needs of patients.

Recently the company opened its first hospital outpatient pharmacy, and there may be more to follow soon. The Healthcare at Home Pharmacy at The York Hospital is close to the main hospital entrance and provides a fast service and extended opening hours, which relieves pressure on the main hospital pharmacy and is more convenient for hospital outpatients.
