Quality and safety

Quality and safety are at the heart of everything that Healthcare at Home does, and we continually strive to improve and develop our services, ensuring they are unparalleled in the sector.

We routinely monitor our own standards of care by drawing on patient, staff and commissioner feedback. We are also subject to rigorous regulation and checks from professional bodies such as The Care Quality Commission, The Regulation and Quality Improvement Authority and The Royal Pharmaceutical Society of Great Britain.

Service commissioners, including NHS trusts, pharmaceutical companies and private medical insurers also regularly monitor our patient satisfaction data and we have been shortlisted for several patient experience awards.

Our clinical governance agenda is stringent, which means we are consistently working towards best practice and ensuring that all our protocols, procedures and training are up to date.

We are proud to be the first high-tech homecare provider to receive ISO 9001:2000 accreditation, which encompasses all operational activities.

Their experience of providing services in the community combined with a thorough and disciplined approach meant that we were confident that patients experienced a safe service that would address their needs.
