The Healthcare at Home experience

We aim to provide our patients with a clinical service and/or a medication supply that causes as little disruption as possible to your daily life. Our teams of drivers and nurses are specially trained to offer a discreet and highly skilled service, at a time and place that suits you.

All of our nurses are highly skilled and experienced and undergo extensive training in order to provide you with the highest standards of one-to-one care. As Healthcare at Home operates throughout the UK, we are able to treat you in the place of your choice, and our specialist staff are on hand 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Our experienced nurses work on a local, one-to-one basis, so you get to know your team of nurses properly - and more importantly - they get to know you.

It's all about your care, your comfort and your convenience.

The Healthcare at Home service means that you will have:

  • A supply of medication brought to you on the day of your treatment, or delivered to a location convenient for you.
  • If having nurse administered treatment, a highly skilled nurse will stay with you throughout your therapy.
  • A local 24 hour on-call service (where relevant).
  • A known date and time for the nurse to attend (where relevant).
  • If you are a privately insured patient, we will confirm cover for your therapy and any changes throughout the regime.
  • Links to local support groups if required.
  • A patient information booklet and treatment diary (where relevant).
  • Full information about your treatment and potential side effects.
  • No clinical waste left in your house.
  • If you're having treatment that requires a blood test we will generally come to your home to take bloods the day before your treatment is due, so that there is no waiting around in the hospital for blood results.
  • No problems parking, or parking fees to pay.
  • Clear communication to your consultant and regular follow up.
