Healthcare at Home wins a Patient Experience Network National Award

Healthcare at Home are delighted to have received a prestigious national award for their end of life care service in Birmingham.

Our Family Liaison Service won the award for ensuring good access to information, continuity of care, and support for caregivers, family and staff at the Patient Experience Network National Awards 2011.

One of the judges praised the, “highly responsive programme which puts patients and their families at the centre of care, during particularly difficult and personally challenging periods of a persons care." Another commented that, “outstanding results have been achieved in a very sensitive area of public health care by coordinated and well led teamwork."

A spokesman for Healthcare at Home said, “We’re absolutely thrilled that our commitment to improving patient experience and care has been formally recognised by the Patient Experience Network awards. We would like to congratulate our nurses and staff who work so hard to ensure our patients receive the highest possible standard of care.”
