Healthcare at Home Pharmacy
At Healthcare at Home we try to make life easier by providing treatment at a time and place most convenient to patients, their families and carers. Whilst this often involves the provision of services to patients in the comfort of their own homes, we are able to extend our service offering by having a presence at the hospital.
We already dispense and deliver over 1 million prescription items to over 110,000 of our homecare services patients each year, from two of the UK’s largest pharmacy operations. However, having facilities at the hospital means we can extend our services to more people.
Products ordered in the pharmacy can be delivered to a patient's home or to some other convenient location, such as their workplace. This can be especially useful if bulky items are prescribed during the hospital visit, or if redirecting medicines when patients are away from home.
Our on site facilities offer consultation and treatment rooms which means greater choice as to where, when and how Healthcare at Home services can be delivered.
